Description
With the new iCharger 456DUO, renowned manufacturer Junsi has completely redesigned its popular 406DUO charger.
The new 456DUO combines the advantages of the familiar Junsi iCharger 406DUO with the latest technology, resulting in significantly more power and new features.
Both charging outputs are equipped with high-current XT90 connectors to ensure continuous power transmission.
The technical specifications are impressive: 2200W charging power (from >40V), compatibility with 1-6s LiXx cells, and a charging current of up to 45 amps, sufficient even for large, high-capacity batteries. Of course, all other battery types, such as LiHV, LiIo, NiZn, Pb, NiCd, or NiMH batteries, can also be charged.
The discharge power is 140 watts total (80W per output when only one output is used), but can be increased to up to 2200W using an external load (discharge resistor). The iCharger 456DUO also supports regenerative charging. In this mode, the battery capacity is fed back into the main battery, for example, from a fully charged flight battery.
The balancing current of 4 amps total (2A per output) ensures perfectly balanced cell voltages at all times.
A USB-C PD port for charging smartphones, etc. (5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A) or for software updates is also included. The micro SD slot can be used for data logging and future updates.
A new feature is "Digital Power," which allows one output to be used as a stabilized power supply. The output voltage can be set from 2V to 32V, and the current from 1A to 45A (please note that a suitable power supply is required!).
A servo tester is also integrated; please note that an external power supply is necessary for this function.
The menu navigation is almost identical to the familiar Junsi iCharger 308DUO, 406 DUO, or 4010DUO.
A 2.8" IPS LCD display ensures good readability even in low light.
Included in the box: 2x XT90 connectors, EC8 cable for self-assembly (charger connector).
English instructions are included on CD; the German version is available for download from our website.
All Junsi chargers in the X and DUO series are designed and approved for use in model making. Industrial use is not intended and therefore not permitted! All Junsi chargers must only be operated with power supplies designed for model making! AGM batteries must not be charged in the PB program!
IMPORTANT! The correct voltage source must be selected for all Junsi chargers; otherwise, damage may occur that is NOT covered by the warranty!
Example: Your power supply delivers 600W and 24V, then this voltage (-2 to 3V) and the maximum current must be set in the charger! (600W : 24V = 25A)
Therefore, please set the following in the input voltage menu: System Menu Input Input Limit Setup: Undervoltage: 24V / Current Limit: 25A / Charging Power: 600W. To prevent premature shutdown, the voltage can be set 2-3V lower than the power source can supply, but never lower!Characteristics
